When you purchase an annual pass for the first time when does it expire? One year from the purchase date or is there an activation date? We want to have our tickets ready when we arrive in March 2015 but don't want them to expire until March 2016.

    Hi John!

I know that I love having an Annual Pass and I am sure you will too!  If you are purchasing a Walt Disney World Annual Pass for the first time, then you will receive a voucher which you will need to activate in Walt Disney World (the clock starts ticking for your Annual Pass year when you redeem the voucher and use the Annual Pass to enter a Park in Walt Disney World). So you could purchase your Annual Pass now and activate it in March 2015.  It will be good for 365 days from activation.  If you were renewing a Walt Disney World Annual Pass it would be good for 365 days from the renewal date.

I hope that you get to enjoy many trips to Walt Disney World to use your new Annual Pass!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
