    If we purchase an annual pass before going to disney will we be able to activate the magic band before going and receive the free parking

    Hey there, hi there, ho there, Wendy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Let's sprinkle some pixie dust and get you off to Neverland with your annual pass.

    Every Passholder may log on to their Disney account through My Disney Experience to customize their Passholder MagicBand after the annual pass is activated. According to Walt Disney World Resort, you may "activate your pass at any Walt Disney World theme park ticket window or Disney Springs Guest Relations location."

    Here are some suggestions if you will not be able to activate your annual pass before your May 2019 trip the place "Where Dreams Come True." First, you may visit Guest Relations located inside the Disney Springs Welcome Center then park for free at the theme parks. Second, go to the theme park, pay for parking, then go to the ticket window located outside the theme park. Once there tell them you would like to activate your annual pass and be reimbursed for parking.

    Disney Dad Tip: Please carry your Annual Passholder card with you at all times while at Walt Disney World Resort. You will need to show it to receive discounts on dining, merchandise, and of course, parking.
