Hi Elaine,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
As part of Walt Disney World Resort's
phased reopening, certain Guest benefits and offerings have been paused until further notice. Unfortunately, at this time, that includes the purchase of Annual Passes. So far, there have been no official announcements about when and if the sale of Annual Passes will resume, but I would hope with the popularity of the Passholder Program that they will soon begin selling them once again! As the Walt Disney World Resort continues to
Return to a World of Magic, progress is being made daily to restore many of the Guest offerings that were suspended over the past year.
Over the past several years, I have enjoyed being a part of the Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder program, and appreciate the benefits that come with it. I always recommend purchasing one if you're a frequent visitor to Walt Disney World and it makes financial sense to do so. Guests who had valid Annual Passes at the time of the park closure have been allowed to renew, but there have been no new sales of Annual Passes at this time. I have my fingers crossed that Guests that want to become Annual Passholders will soon have the option to purchase them once again.
I encourage you to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date announcements and breaking news about the Passholder Program, as well as the
Passholder page on the
official Walt Disney World Resort website. Please note that pricing information on the website is subject to change once Annual Pass sales resume.
In the meantime, there are many other
Theme Park Tickets currently available for Guests to purchase, including tickets with the
Park Hopper Option, which allow you to visit more than one theme park per day - even all four if you'd like!
I hope this helps with your planning, and that you'll soon be immersed in the magic and making memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
