Would like to purchase 2 adult tickets for 1 day - park hopper + genie for April 4, 2022. How do I get started?

    Welcome to planDisney, Claudine!

Your question had me grinning from EAR to EAR. There's nothing quite like planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort. As soon as you drive through that famous archway, you'll be able to “forget about your worries and your strife.” Did you know that the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be taking place when you arrive? You'll love the gorgeous gardens and terrific topiary displays. Also, don't forget to try the delectable food and drink around World Showcase too. Believe me, it all tastes as good as it looks!

Purchasing tickets is really easy! Simply go to the Walt Disney World website and create a My Disney Experience account. Once you do that and are signed in, visit the tickets page, scroll down, and click "Continue." You'll next want to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar. I've just checked and noticed that Magic Kingdom Park is currently unavailable on April 4. If you were planning on visiting different parks, then Hakuna Matata! However, if you'd like to visit Magic Kingdom Park, you can either hop there after 2:00 PM using the Park Hopper Option or visit on a different day.

The next thing you'll want to do is select the number of days you're visiting and then scroll down and select "Park Hopper Option." Scroll down again and select the day you want to visit. Keep scrolling down and select the number of tickets you'd like to purchase. You'll then click "Continue" and be taken to another page. You might want to think about if you'd like to add the Memory Maker to your ticket. Scroll down to the bottom and click "Select." You can then check out and make your purchase.

Once you make your purchase, you'll then need to make Theme Park reservations. To avoid disappointment, I'd encourage you to do this right away, Claudine. You'll make a reservation for the Theme Park you'd like to visit first. Then you're all set!

You'll have to wait to add Disney Genie+ until the day of your visit. I'd suggest downloading the My Disney Experience Mobile App. On the day of your visit, open up the app, click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of your screen, and then select "My Genie Day." There should be an option that says "Get Disney Genie+ for Today." Select it and you'll find a list of all the people in your party. Select both members of your party and then make your purchase.

Starting at 7:00 AM on the day of your visit, you'll be able to make your first Lightning Lane selection. Once you enjoy that attraction, or two hours after making your selection (whatever comes sooner), you can then make another Lightning Lane selection. You can keep doing that throughout the day until there are no more Lightning Lane selections available.

Wow, that's a lot of information! I've tried to be thorough so that you don't run into any problems. I hope that's helpful, Claudine.

Stop by planDisney again if you have any more questions.
