Hi there, Jessica. I'm so glad you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort and that you've brought us a great planning question!
I've visited Disneyland while nursing and pumping, and the
Happiest Place on Earth is very friendly to both. While you are welcome to discreetly pump throughout the resort, you are also welcome to pump in the nursing area of both Baby Care Centers. If your pump uses a power cord, there is an area in both Centers with access to an outlet. I am not sure when you are visiting, Jessica, but during the summer months, I loved visiting the
Baby Care Center to enjoy the air conditioning. You are welcome to bring a soft-sided cooler with reusable ice packs (
loose or dry ice is not permitted) to store any milk you pump. Unfortunately, the Baby Care Centers cannot store breastmilk.
In between pumping sessions, you might consider
renting a locker to store your pump. Disneyland lockers let you set a unique PIN that allows you in and out access for the whole day. There are lockers on Main Street in Disneyland Park and Buena Vista Street in California Adventure. There are also lockers outside the entrance to both theme parks.
I hope this information helps, Jessica. Please
let me know if you have any other questions. I would be happy to help!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
