The Crystal Palace inside Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. I gather you're a fan of the beloved puffed French toast that used to be found on this breakfast buffet. Let's talk about it!
I, too, loved the puffed French toast. It was so sugary sweet, crunchy and yet fluffy all at the same time. While menu items tend to change regularly at Walt Disney World restaurants, and we've certainly seen some sunsetted fan favorites make return appearances, I'm sad to share that the puffed French toast hasn't been spotted recently, to my knowledge.
That being said, there is a menu offering to fill the void, and dare I say, it's even better! The churro Mickey waffles can be found at Walt Disney World exclusively on Crystal Palace's breakfast buffet. I first came across this culinary marvel aboard
Disney Cruise Line's
Disney Fantasy several years ago. To this day, it's the single best breakfast item I think I've ever tasted, not just with Disney, but anywhere. So, to say I was thrilled to learn they are now available on land as well is an understatement.
I know this probably isn't the answer you wanted, but I hope you won't let your disappointment stand in the way of enjoying this wonderful character breakfast. Pooh and friends would be sad to miss you, and let's be honest, Eeyore doesn't need that.
