Thanks for bringing your planning question to planDisney, David. I am so glad you stopped by. You must be getting so excited for your upcoming vacation to the Disneyland Resort, so let's get you an answer!
First, I highly recommend reviewing the Disneyland website's
Guest with Disabilities Overview page. This page provides great information regarding a visit to the Disneyland Resort if you or anyone in your party has any special needs or accessibility concerns.
To register for
Disability Access Service (DAS), which is a program for Guests with a developmental disability like autism who aren't able to wait in regular queues,
you may chat with a Cast Member via live video call or in person once you arrive at the resort. You can request a live chat via the Disneyland Resort website. If you decide to register in person, you will need to visit the Accessibility Services Kiosk on the east side of the Esplanade by Disney California Adventure Park. Whether via video or in person, the Cast Member will determine eligibility and provide relevant resources for your visit. You may visit the kiosk beginning one hour before the theme parks open and up until two hours before the theme parks close. I hope this helps!
Before your visit, be sure to check out the
Disney Parks Blog for all the exciting events happening at the resort during your stay. You will be visiting during the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort -the merriest time of year. I love checking out the
seasonal foodie guide before my visit, and I highly recommend it!. The Disneyland Resort has some of the best sweet treats anywhere on Earth.
Thanks again for stopping by, David. Please visit us again anytime!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
