Hi there, Paula!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Before you know it, you will be strolling your way into Magic Kingdom Park for that memorable first glance at
Cinderella Castle! I am so excited for you and the magical vacation that awaits you in just a few short weeks!
I am glad you asked the question about protecting your littles (and all the gear that goes along with littles) from rainy weather that you may incur during your day at the theme parks. Luckily, those rain showers are often short-lived and hopefully you won’t have a full day of rain during your vacation! But if you do, it's best to be adequately prepared! Since the
double strollers available to rent from the theme parks are made of molded plastic, there is not a specific rain cover that is recommended for use with them. Instead, you can use any double stroller rain cover and strategically use clothespins to clip it to make it fit the stroller. Another option – and likely a bit easier would be to get a poncho and drape that over the stroller and your littles.
If you are looking for a specific stroller, you may want to consider renting one from an outside company. They offer a variety of stroller brands and have rain covers available as well. But, remember, the rain showers are usually short-lived and if we are ever caught in one, we duck in to see a
stage show or indoor attraction to escape! And the shower will hopefully cool you off from the hot summer weather!
Have an amazing and memorable vacation, Paula! Please come back with any other planning questions you may have!
