Are there pros or cons to having a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dinner reservation?

    Hello Jilly!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited that my family and I will be attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year. I have been in the past, and it always puts me in a festive mood for the ho-ho-holidays.

The pro to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Dining is a magical meal inside Magic Kingdom Park! For me, I really enjoy making the most out of the party time, so having a meal during prime party time doesn't work for me. I'm a go, go, go type during the special events, so I can see the parade, watch fireworks, go to the dance parties, take character photos, and more! Some people, on the other hand, enjoy a more relaxed approach, and need a dining reservation to sit, relax, and regroup.

My preference would be the Holiday Wishes Fireworks Holiday Dessert Party, because I love dessert and then I know I would have a prime spot for Holiday Wishes. Seeing the fireworks over Cinderella Castle while gleaming with icicle lights is dreamy.
