Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Chinh! Thanks for stopping by with your question.
Chinh, one thing I love about a
Walt Disney World vacation is the ease of things. It truly is the
Most Magical Place On Earth. Many, many Guests travel to Walt Disney World each year without their own transportation and have a fabulous time. For the most part, you are able to use the complimentary transportation that is provided to get where you need to go.
Walt Disney World provides
complimentary transportation from the Walt Disney World Resort hotels to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks daily. There are several different modes of transportation such as busses, boats, monorails and even gondolas that fly high in the sky giving you a birds-eye view of the Walt Disney World resort. Transportation starts running about 45 minutes prior to the park's scheduled opening time and runs anywhere between an hour or two after the parks close for the night. If you plan on visiting multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day (park hopping), you can also use park-to-park busses that start running right around 2:00 p.m.
If you'd like to travel between two
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, there isn't a direct route for all resorts - but it's still doable! Let's pick two for example - Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. To go between these two, you'd have to head over to a Walt Disney World Theme Park first. I'd take the bus from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort over to Magic Kingdom Park. From there, I'd switch over to the monorail and ride it 3 stops and get off at my destination. Something I like to do if I have an early breakfast reservation at one of the other hotels is to use a rideshare service. This is an extra cost but it's minimal to get around the Walt Disney World resort area. Rideshares are able to pick you up right in front of your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel's lobby and drop you off in the same spot at your location. It's quick and convenient.
I hope this helps, Chinh. If you have any other questions about this or need to know how to get somewhere specific, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
