Is proof of vaccine required to visit the California Disneyland Parks? If so, are children exempt since the vaccine is not recommended for them at this time. Also, do you anticipate the Parks being open to out-of-state visitors after June 15?

Hey there, hi there, Derek! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be.

During the exciting reopening period, all who visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will need a few Mouseketools to make their theme park dreams come true. First, in an effort to limit capacity and maintain physical distancing, theme park reservations are required for entry. Additionally, all visitors ages 2 and older must adhere to face-covering requirements and participate in health screenings.

At this time, proof of vaccination is not needed for any Mouseketeers entering Disneyland Resort or its theme parks. As guidance from local and national public health organizations evolves, I'll be keeping my eyes on the Experience Updates page to monitor changes to any protocols.

Like you, I reside outside of the Golden State, but I'll watching official news sources like the Disney Parks Blog to find out when it will be my turn to climb the Matterhorn and say ka-chow to Lightning McQueen and friends. At this time we don't know an exact date, so I recommend following us on social media and checking the Disneyland Resort website for updates.

Thanks for sending your question our way, Derek, and hopefully, we'll see ya real soon!
