Hiya Marlena,
Welcome to planDisney! I hope you are getting excited about your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Any visit to Disneyland Resort is memorable, but when you bring your little ones, it is even more magical.
I’m planning my little Mousketeer’s first visit to the Theme Parks, so I’ve spent a lot of time researching strollers. I hope I can help you make a decision for your upcoming visit. As outlined in
Disneyland Resort’s Property Rules, strollers must not exceed the dimensions of 31” in width by 52” in length, and stroller wagons are expressly prohibited. Pronto strollers are definitely a little tricky, and a lot of conflicting information has been found online, so I understand why you have questions about it. While the Pronto strollers are marketed as double strollers and fit within the size guidelines, it does resemble a stroller wagon.
I would hate for you to travel with your stroller and not be permitted to bring it in. Cast Members do reserve the right to prohibit you from bringing in the stroller, especially if they believe your stroller violates the property rules. For this reason, I would err on the side of caution and not bring it to Disneyland Resort.
If you are looking for other options, I highly recommend either
renting a stroller through ScooterBug or at Disneyland Resort. This will ensure that you won’t have any delays getting your Theme Park day started at the turnstile.
I hope my answer was helpful, Marlena. Please come back and see us if you need anything!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
