I promised my four year old that we can go to Disney next year and then I found out I was pregnant. How is Disney with a 5-6 month old and is it true that he or she will be free of charge?

    Hi Lynn!

Congratulations!! I actually brought both of my children to Walt Disney World when they were infants.  My daughter was six months old and my son was five months old.  Both experiences were wonderful and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!   Bringing infants to Walt Disney World forces you to take the parks at a slower pace and really take it all in, which will be great for your four year old as well!

It was truly incredible to watch my infants look around at the sights and sounds in complete awe.  We also have some pretty fantastic photos of our babies with the characters.  They will never remember it, but those memories are very near and dear to my heart and something I'll always cherish.

The four Theme Parks are equipped with Baby Care Centers.  The centers offer changing tables, nursing rooms, outlets for pumps, bottle warmers, and a small shop with essentials like diapers and formula.  The centers are a nice respite from the heat and crowds outside, but I never had any problems finding quiet, shady spots to nurse around the parks.

All guests under the age of three are free at Walt Disney World. We've definitely taken advantage of that little perk: my daughter went four times before she hit her third birthday.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about bringing infants to Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
