Are there any programs for kids 12 and 9 at night? So mom and dad can get a drink and have a couple hours without kids?

    Hello Todd,

I am glad you came to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I can completely understand your quest for some adult time while on a Walt Disney World vacation. My husband and I absolutely love bringing our kids to this magical place, but can appreciate a little alone time without them. However, this does not mean they cannot have a great time, too.

I recommend the Children's Activity Centers at select Walt Disney World Resort deluxe hotels. These offer arts and crafts, movies, special activities, and even dinner for children ages 3-12 (ages 4-12 for Camp Dolphin). Even though younger children may be there, there is still some awesome fun for older kids, too. My oldest was 10 when he went the last time and he still had a blast. For example, one activity could be a fun lab experiment called Lava Flow or they could cook up some treats at Ratatouille's Cooking School. Please note, there is a flat rate fee (except for Camp Dolphin where an hourly rate applies) and reservations are recommended.

Here is a list and link to all of the Children's Activity Centers:

You do not have to be a guest at the resort to make a reservation. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability.

    Have a lovely night out!
