Hi, Sherry!
Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel site. There are lots of photo opportunities while on the Disney Cruise. The photography staff will be roaming around to take photos, with the whole family included! Similar to the Photopass/Memory Maker photo program at the parks, you can enjoy the same type of service on the Disney Cruise by visiting the onboard
photography services at Shutters. The professional photography staff will usually setup exclusive Disney Cruise backgrounds at the atrium every night. These are the types of photos that make such great souvenirs and mementos. The crisp & clear high quality photos look great on a frame. Photographers will also be around during character meet & greets, and dinner rotations at the different dining rooms. There are different photo packages available. My family and I usually purchase the package CD along with prints, which will include all the photos that you take while on the cruise. My kids will usually take random photos ranging from comical to formal... solo and with a bunch of their buddies they meet at the youth clubs. They've come up with hilarious jump shots! The photographers even take the time to show guests how to pose.
Hand your Key to The World Card to the photographer before every photo, and your photos will be nicely catalogued together per stateroom. Photographers are available all over the ship, and they'll also be at the Ports. They even accompany groups at various Port Adventures. The best pictures are, of course, at Castaway Cay -- so make sure you take a bunch of shots there too!
I hope that this information helps.
Have a magical day!
Dolly M.
