Ahoy again Missy –
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Planning the perfect family vacation takes time and dedication, and it is obvious that you are working hard, Missy! The saddest part of the cruise is debarkation, when we say goodbye to our new friends and transition back to life on the mainland.
Disney Cruise Line has made debarkation and customs a painless process so that coming back to the real world is not too difficult. After you wave goodbye to the cast members onboard, you will leave the ship and have your
Key to The World card scanned one last time. Entering the US Customs terminal, guests will proceed to collect their luggage in the assigned location (this will be predetermined the night prior to debarkation). Guests who have signed up for
Onboard Airline Check-in do not need to worry about luggage and will simply proceed directly to the queue at
Customs without collecting luggage. Have your passports ready along with your declarations paperwork filled out (again, this will be given to you the night before). The line usually takes about 15-20 minutes to go through. After an agent clears your family, you may proceed to parking and transportation. Before you leave, make sure you have breakfast at your assigned restaurant or at
Cabanas buffet which has an assortment of hot meals (eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, sausage, grilled tomatoes, omelets, pancakes, waffles), pastries (toast, muffins, doughnuts, danish), hot and cold cereals as well as morning beverages. Missy, thanks for visiting with us again for your planning needs!
