    We are in the process of planning our 1st trip to Disney in Sept with our 2 children (5 & 8yrs). We want to have a suite so we can have more space and put the kids to bed. We are on a budget. Can you recommend either an on-property or off property home

    Disney's All-Star Music Resort has Family Suites, it is a Value Resort, so the cost is less than that of a Villa, or a suite at a Moderate Resort.  All-Star Music has a swimming pool that is shaped like a guitar, and yet its called the Piano Pool.  There is a food court, that is relatively inexpensive.  We were really surprised, we had thoughts of over priced menu's but it was just the opposite. 

    We have also rented houses off property in the past, when we traveled with other families.  This was great, however, we realized quickly the extra cost involved, by having to pay for on-site parking, and not to mention the gas of driving back and forth.  We discovered, it was not always cheaper in the long run.
