    I am in the process of planning our second trip to WDW for January of 2019. We went in 2017. The Disney planning website has automatically linked our old bands to this new trip. We would like you have new bands for this trip. How do I remove the old bands?

    It’s great to hear you’ll be returning to Walt Disney World and that you are getting a jump on planning your next trip!

    If you visit the My Disney Experience website and look at the MagicBands and Cards section, you should see a feature for “Select a MagicBand or Card to Manage Its Status.” Using this feature, you can choose to set the status of a MagicBand as either “Active” or “Inactive.”

    If you are planning to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel when you return for your trip, you’ll receive a new set of  MagicBands that you can customize.
