I am in the process of planning our first trip! Can someone give me some tips on best options/plans to go with! Thanks

    Hi, Amie!

Congratulations on planning your first trip to Walt Disney World!

You're in good hands here with the Moms Panel; we'll help you find all of the options that are best for your family. So glad you asked!

Regarding choosing such options, first choose your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, based on your budget, family size, particular interests and proximity to specific parks. Have a Princess fan in the family? Check out a Royal Guest Room at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside (Moderate). Want to stay right next door the Magic? Disney's Contemporary Resort (Deluxe) is only a short walk or monorail ride to Magic Kingdom. For a more economical stay at one of the newest WDW Resorts, check out Disney's Art of Animation Resort where your family can hear voices from Finding Nemo while swimming IN The Big Blue Pool!

Next, consider your family's eating habits and what you'd like to enjoy on your vacation in Walt Disney World. Then, take a look at your Disney Dining Plan options to see if any of these are right for you.

Don't forget to frequently check the Walt Disney World Special Offers page, too, which might help you plan your trip during a money-saving time of year as well!

Send more questions as you investigate your options, Amie; I'd love to help you plan your FIRST trip to Walt Disney World! (It's so exciting!) :-)
