I am in the process of picking a Disney resort for our vacation. My question is, do I have to be a DVC member to stay at certain resorts, or can I pick to stay at any resort I wish? I was not sure if some resorts, such as the BW was exclusive to members.

    HI Debra!
Picking a resort to stay at is such a fun adventure in itself!  The Villas are an outstanding option to stay at. You do not need to be a member to stay at any of the Disney Vacation Club villas, even Disney's Boardwalk.  You will have an option to stay in a regular room or a villa or deluxe studio at Boardwalk, Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge, and Animal Kingdom Lodge.  At Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Old Key West, and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary resort, you can request a deluxe studio, one or two bedroom villas or a grand villa. One of the many benefits of staying in a villa at a Disney Vacation Club resort is a full kitchen and washer and dryer.  Plus the fact that you have a lot more room for your family and friends. We take advantage of having a kitchen for breakfast before heading out to the theme parks for the day!  I find it fantastic to be able to put a load of laundry in during the trip to reduce packing and help me once we return home!  Every resort is themed wonderfully, and each location has something to offer.  I hope you have a great time picking out your resort and a even better vacation!
