We are on the process of booking an alaskan cruise. We have been on two previous cruises and enjoyed the pirates nights to the fullest. Building costumes and parting till the wee hours of the night. Is there any activities similar to this on pixar nights

    Ahoy, Leann!
Arrrgh! I, like you, am a pirate at heart. There's nothing better than dressing up in pirate finery and having a big deck party with all the other scallywags aboard the ship! Yo, ho! While I haven't yet participated in the Pixar Pals Party personally (try saying that five times fast!), I've gathered what information I can for you about this fun event.

The Pixar Pals Party is an energetic, fun-filled gathering in the ship's atrium, with tons of Pixar characters available for autographs and photo ops. After a grand introduction, you'll enjoy an unforgettable meet-and greet with rarely-seen characters. Remy and Emile from Ratatouille, Flik from A Bug's Life, and Russell and Dug from Up have been known to make appearances.

During the party, there will be music, dancing, and a fun sing-along to "You've Got a Friend In Me". I've seen a video of the party where they dropped giant beach balls and confetti  - what fun! (unless it's your job to sweep up the confetti...) I've heard there's also a Toy Story-themed dinner on the evenings of the Pixar Party.

While the Pixar Party doesn't include a large deck party like Pirate Night, there will certainly be plenty of fun activities planned to keep you entertained until the "wee hours". (And I'm sure nobody would mind if you showed up dressed like a pirate!)

Hope this helps. Have fun planning your Alaskan cruise, and if you have any further questions, please let us know!  - Diane W.
