What is the process to be able to ride Millenium Falcon ride?

Bright Suns, Marvin! You've found your fellow Jedi here at planDisney. Thank the maker!

It sounds like you're making plans to travel to a galaxy far, far away and will be landing in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! Whether you're working with the Resistance or siding with the First Order, you're definitely in for a galactic adventure. And while on planet Batuu, you'll want to make sure that you pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy – also known as Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run!

At the time of this writing, there are a few ways to experience Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run. First, you're welcome to join the typical standby line to access the ride. The wait for the standby line is usually the lowest very early in the morning, or very late at night. Additionally, the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run standby line is available during Early Theme Park Entry, which magically allows Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels access to the parks 30 minutes prior to the stated opening time! This attraction also offers a Single Rider Line, which typically greatly reduces your wait in the standby line. Single riders will often be paired with another group, where seats would have usually gone empty. Your entire travel party can join the Single Rider Line, but you'd most likely be split up when it comes time to board.

Second, you and the Guests in your travel party could purchase Disney Genie+ service and reserve a spot to ride this attraction. This is my recommended route! This way, you know when you'll be able to ride and can plan your day around it. Because your boarding time is reserved, your wait should be much shorter than the traditional standby line. Please let us know if you have any questions on how to use Disney Genie+!

You'll need to refuel during your visit and I highly recommend making a pit stop at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo! My favorite galactic grub is the Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread (trust me on this!) and the Batuuan Beef and Crispy Topato Stir-fry. Also, be sure that you stop by the Milk Stand to try the blue and green milk! And if you place a mobile order for your meals and snacks with the My Disney Experience app, they should be ready in 12 parsecs or less (give or take). It's easier than a Jedi mind trick!

If you have any other questions, please have your droid send us another transmission (or simply write to us again). We're here to help! And – may the Force be with you!
