What is the procedure for renting electric wheelchairs in the parks?

Hello, Brittany, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the Panel with your question.

Electric Conveyance Vehicles are available for rent at all Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. Daily ECV Rentals are transferable between all locations. You pay just once for the day. The current price is $50 with a refundable $20 deposit at the parks.

ECVs may not be removed from the destination where they were rented. When exiting your location, simply return your ECV to the rental counter to receive your deposit. If you're at Disney Springs, your deposit will be returned at this time. If leaving one theme park and visiting another, present your rental receipt with your deposit to secure another ECV, if available.

For the latest information, visit the ECV Rentals page on disneyworld.com or contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or by email at disability.services@disneyparks.com

You can also contact Disney's Featured Provider, ScooterBug, for your ECV rental. ScooterBug offers length-of-stay rentals for Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels. For more details and rentals, visit scooterbug.com/orlando or call (800) 726-8284.

Brittany, please let us know if you have any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
