Douglas from OH Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

What is the procedure to get from the Orlando airport to the resort. Including transfer of luggage. The last time I was in Disney was the year before COVID. The time of magical express.

Hi there, Douglas. I'm a fellow Ohioan, and I'm so happy to welcome you to the port of planDisney!

Shiver me timbers, Douglas! I'm thrilled to hear you'll be returning to Walt Disney World after so many years. How exciting! As our favorite pirate, Captain Jack, would say, "We have our heading." Now, let's get you from the Orlando Airport to your Resort hotel!

You are correct that the Magical Express service has been discontinued. Since I travel frequently from Ohio to Florida, I can share how I now plot my course to the magic. When traveling with a small group, I prefer using a ride-sharing service. It's easy and convenient. The cost may be slightly higher than other options, but I have always found the additional charge to be nominal. The benefit of using a ride-share service is that you'll reach your Resort hotel quickly, making it the fastest option available. Keep in mind that, like other services now offered, you will need to collect your luggage from the airport carousels.

If you are traveling with a larger party or want the same type of bus transportation that was offered by Magical Express, I recommend using Mears Connect. With this service, you will need to book and pay for your trip in advance on their website. While I don't have a link to share, you can easily find them with a quick internet search. Once you arrive, you'll need to collect your luggage and follow the directions to the bus, which will be outlined in your confirmation email. Similar to Magical Express, these buses make multiple stops at various Disney Resort hotels, so it may take longer to reach your final stop compared to a ride-share service. I have used this service many times and found the buses to be very clean and the drivers to be very friendly.

Douglas, before long, you'll be enjoying a little relaxing pirate arr and arr on Pirates of the Caribbean! I'm excited that you'll have fun again on all the classic rides, but there are so many new offerings since you were last here! Be sure to check out Disney Starlight, the new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom, and the wonderfully wicked new show at Hollywood Studios, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After. This show also features another pirate friend named Hook.

I hope this information helps. Please stop by anytime, and we'll be happy to help you. Treasure every moment of your AR-mazing trip!

Wishing you a swashbuckling good time!
