Hi Tauna, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for coming to see us with your question.
As a fellow
Annual Passholder, I totally understand how you feel. It's been so hard to plan visits to Walt Disney World right now for just three days at a time when we were always used to going whenever we wanted. I just looked at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, and I see that there are
Disney Park Pass reservations available for Annual Passholders in all four parks on your arrival date of May 19th and also for May 20th. On Friday the 21st, we Passholders have availability for Disney's Animal Kingdom Park and EPCOT. It's the weekend that gets tricky, with no parks available on either Saturday or Sunday at the moment.
Okay, now that we know what we're working with, let's see if we can make some plans! Since the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios are the parks that tend to book up first, I'd be sure to get those scheduled for the days they have availability, so you'll visit one of them after you arrive on Wednesday and the other on Thursday. Next, I'd schedule Disney's Animal Kingdom Park on Friday since it still has some openings. Remember, your Annual Passes have the
Park Hopper Option included, so you can always hop to a different theme park after 2 p.m. That will definitely help you maximize your park time!
So now, what can you do for the weekend when there's no availability left in the theme parks? It might just be a good time to try some of the other fun things the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer! You can splash the day away at
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, hit the golf course (regulation or
miniature), or spend a day shopping and dining at
Disney Springs. You could also try out a new-to-you
restaurant, or hop aboard the
Disney Skyliner for a whole new way to see the World. And even just hanging out by the pool at your Resort hotel is a day well spent in my book!
Tauna, you may still find some availability open up in the parks for your last couple of days, so keep an eye on the calendar. But I don't want you to be discouraged. I promise there's a World of fun outside the parks, too!
I hope this helps you plan a magical family vacation, Tauna. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
