We will probably spend the morning of our last day at Downtown Disney (DH, DD age 3, & me). Where do you recommend we eat lunch? It's my husband's 40th birthday (and Thanksgiving)? Any not-to-be-missed shops? Thank you!

Though not very Thanksgiving-esque I highly recommend both Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich as great places to stop in for lunch.  These are counter-service restaurants though, so if you're looking for something upscale and sophisticated, I'd look elsewhere.  But when it comes to delicious food and comfortable surroundings these two options can't be beat.  They are located very close to one another in the Marketplace section of Downtown Disney.

Not to be missed shops?  Our favorites for souvenir shopping are the giant World of Disney store and Disney's Pin Traders.  Our 2-year-old son has a great time exploring and playing at  the LEGO Imagination Center.  Once Upon a Toy also is fun to visit; they have a huge selection of Mr. Potato Head parts and accessories.  And of course a visit to Downtown Disney wouldn't be complete without picking up a custom made snack from Goofy's Candy Co.

    Happy Shopping!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
