Probably a really silly question. We are stopping at a Disney hotel with a 3 year old. We have the free refillable mug. How do you drink from the mug? Just wondered whether it was like a kids beaker and whether he would be able to drink from it. Thanks. X

    Hi Helen,

There is no such thing as a silly question when you are in the process of planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

The Rapid Fill Resort refillable drink mugs which are included with the Disney Dining Plan for all Guests ages 3 and over, are not like a kids beaker. Essentially, they are made out of plastic and have a plastic lid which you slide to enable you to access your drink and then slide back so that your drink doesn't spill whilst you're not drinking it, if that makes sense? The drink itself is released from a small circular hole in the lid of the mug.

The mugs are all a standard design and are given to both adults and children alike. There aren't any refillable mugs available specifically suited to young children with a beaker.

You will find lots of photographs of the refillable mugs over at the unofficial website The Disney Food Blog (www.disneyfoodblog.com).

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
