Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah!
I am happy to give you some suggestions that will hopefully be exactly what your husband needs to make this family vacation even more special!
First, I have to mention that you'll be visiting during the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. My husband and I adore this event and often take adult-only trips to enjoy it. You can eat and drink your way around World Showcase and there are a LOT of delicious items to choose from. If your husband is like mine, a beer and bratwurst combo from the Germany kiosk is all he needs to make him a happy camper! Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements about the Eat to the Beat Concert Series and culinary demonstrations/seminars that are offered at the event.
You should definitely explore the
recreational activities offered outside of the theme parks. Did you know there are fishing excursions, golf courses, miniature golf courses, boating activities and so much more that can be experienced during your stay? There are also activities unique to each Disney Resort hotel like horseback riding, campfires and bike rentals. Some folks visit the Walt Disney World Resort and don't ever set foot in the theme parks ... there is that much to do!
What about
a tour? Is your husband a history fanatic? Enjoy gardening? What about a wild animal safari? There are tours for all of that! My husband loved the Behind the Seeds tour where we learned a ton about gardening techniques, and bonus - it is very reasonably priced!
Check out these ideas and let me know if you have any other questions!
