This is probably a dumb question, however, I’m planning on buying two tickets to Disney World, however, I will be purchasing them separately. Am I still able to use them on the app? Like will there be any issue in me buying them separately for two people?

Hi there, Marcos! Welcome to planDisney!

This is an excellent question, my friend, so I’m so glad you stopped by to ask us! After all, we planDisney Panelists are here to help our fellow Guests in any way we can! So, let’s get to it!

Marcos, I am happy to share that you can absolutely link theme park tickets purchased separately in your My Disney Experience app. In fact, linking your tickets is as easy as bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! All you’ll need to do is open your My Disney Experience app and follow these simple steps:

    • First, you will want to pull up the confirmation email you received after purchasing your ticket and look for the ticket id number on the email (under the barcode).
    • Next, head over to the My Disney Experience app and open the menu by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner, then click on "Tickets and Passes."
    • Finally, click on "Link Tickets & Passes," enter the ticket ID code, and click submit. You can then assign the ticket to either yourself or the other member of your party, and you’re good to go!

How easy was that?! Then, once you have your second ticket purchased, just follow the same steps above, and you’re good to go!

If you can’t find your confirmation email or the steps above don't seem to be working, you can reach out to one of the helpful Cast Members on the Existing Tickets Team at (407) 934 7639. They will be more than happy to help you get that all linked up.

While I have your, Marcos, I just want to quickly remind you to secure your Theme Park Reservations ahead of your trip. You will need to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you have added the Park Hopper Option to your ticket, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. Some dates do get booked up, so I recommend securing your Theme Park Reservations are early as possible to make sure you can enjoy all the parks you were hoping to visit. Be sure to add both members to your party to your theme park reservation, as you’ll each need one to enter the parks.

I hope I have been able to help you today! Please feel free to stop by again if you have any other vacation planning questions. We here at planDisney just love helping our fellow Guests make the most of their Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

    Thanks for stopping by!
