Hello,
Welcome to planDisney Michelle! thanks for dropping in with your question about your visit during Thanksgiving week. Let hurry up and get to it!
Walt Disney World is always a special place, but when you are celebrating any holiday it can certainly be memorable. The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is a quintessential Disney bucket list stay. This resort is located directly across from
Magic Kingdom Park and has direct access to the monorail. Finding a room when you are approaching 30 days can be tough. However, I do see one room available for the dates that you have selected. It is a Resort Studio but currently available, and if I were you, I would rush over there to book this the moment you get this response. This particular room sleeps up to five adults and has a resort view. If you do get to stay there, I would make sure you try and make a reservation for the
Enchanted Rose Lounge. This location is magically decorated, and it feels like you stepped right into the live-action Beauty and the Beast.
If you are planning on visiting during Thanksgiving week, and would like a Thanksgiving meal, you should certainly visit Magic Kingdom Park. There’s a restaurant that serves Thanksgiving every day.
Liberty Tree Tavern is a traditional family style Thanksgiving meal. While the main entrées include roast pork, turkey, and pot roast, it is not at all the main attraction. You had better save some room for one of the best desserts ever. The Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake with chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream will leave you talking about this meal for years to come. I promise that you will not be able to get enough of it, and you may even book another trip based on making sure you have this dessert again. OK, maybe it’s just me that books trips just to eat. Either way this is one of those desserts I would certainly do it for.
I hope this information helps you attain your dates for your stay. If you have other planning questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again.
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
