Are there in and out privileges in Disneyland parks?

Hey there, Adrienne! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question!

Adrienne, you can absolutely leave the parks and scan back in again. I highly recommend taking a break during the day, whether it be at a Disneyland Resort Hotel or a Good Neighbor Hotel nearby – there are so many accommodations within walking distance. A little rest and refueling helps you enjoy the parks well into the night, as there’s something extra magical about being there after dark.

Having your tickets handy in the Disneyland mobile app makes it very easy. But you can present either your electronic ticket or paper ticket to re-enter.

One of my family’s favorite rest activities during the day is a dip in the pool at our hotel. It’s nice to cool off, especially during the summer months. Then, we are ready for our nighttime fun. We will be there in a few weeks and can’t wait to see the Main Street Electrical Parade and Fantasmic! Both have dining packages (at Plaza Inn and Hungry Bear Restaurant, respectively) with reserved viewing areas – sometimes they have last minute cancellations so it’s worth checking with the host stand.

    Enjoy your magical visit, Adrienne!
