Pandora Family Floating Mountains

Hello! We had the privilege of riding Flight of Passage back in 2017 shortly after it opened. My son had to hold the glasses, as they were falling off his face during the ride. Has the design improved, or can you suggest a way to hold these in place? TY!

Hi, Stephanie!  I was excited to wake up this morning and make my Fast Pass+ selections for our summer trip. I told my kiddos, "Everyone's packing their own lunches today because Mommy has to get our Flight of Passage Fast Passes!" Priorities are important, right?!

Clearly, Avatar Flight of Passage is a fan favorite in my house. I love how the innovative ride vehicle allows you to dive, soar, and race through Pandora on the back of a banshee in a way that only Disney magic can. Having a small head, however, I always have issues with 3D glasses staying on (this seems to be more of a problem for me on Toy Story Mania, though). I've heard rumors that Imagineers redesigned the glasses for Flight of Passage last yEAR, but I was not able to find anyone who could confirm this. My Disney Parks Moms Panel friend, Julie, gave me a tip. She said she uses a thin elastic headband to keep her glasses on securely.  I realize that your son may not want to make such a bold fashion statement while at Walt Disney World, but rest assured that the attraction is dark and it would go unnoticed. You could also purchase an anti-slip eyeglass strap for kids. Amazon has a wide assortment of inexpensive options. After your exhilarating journey, head to Pongu Pongu for a Night Blossom, which is my 10-year-old's favorite thirst-quenching treat!

Happy planning, Stephanie, and hayalovay (until next time to the Na'vi)!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
