Private tour or guided Disney for group

    Hi there, Angela!

I'm so glad you found us here at planDisney. It seems you have stumbled upon one of my favorite topics, VIP Tours at the Walt Disney World Resort! I'd be happy to share some details to see if "this is the way" for your group!

Private VIP Tours are available for a minimum of seven hours and a maximum of ten hours. You will have a private Tour Guide whisking you off on a magical adventure around the parks. Your Tour Guide will meet you at the location of your choice. Usually, Guests choose their Disney Resort Hotel as the pick-up location so they can utilize the private vehicle provided for their group. I recommend telling your Tour Guide early in the tour about all the things you want to see and do. If they have a good idea of your must-do list, they can help build an itinerary to help you maximize the magic! If you have a favorite dining location, tell your Tour Guide at the beginning of your tour and they can work their magic to see if they can grab a table for you at some point during the day!

Purchasing a VIP Tour allows you to utilize the Lightning Lane entrance to the majority of rides and attractions in all four theme parks. Your VIP Tour Guide will scan you into each attraction you'd like to experience. They may ride with you or can split up and take some of your group on one ride while the other experiences another. This is especially helpful when young kids are included who may not meet certain height requirements. Most rides, you can ride over and over again if you'd like, but for some of the newer attractions, like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you will be limited to just one ride per tour.

There are a few important notes to touch on before you run to your phone to book a VIP Tour. First,  Park Hopper tickets are required for all Guests in your group, but you will not have to wait until 2 p.m. to switch parks. You will also need to make theme park reservations for your starting park. The tour is for up to ten Guests. If you have more than ten, you will be required to pay for another Tour Guide, which doubles the cost of the tour. All Guests, regardless of age, count towards that number.

To book your VIP Tour, you will need to call a Cast Member directly at (407) 560-4033. You can book your tour up to 60-days in advance and I do suggest doing it sooner rather than later. The secret is out about these pixie-dusted, magical experiences and many Guests are rushing to book them!
