We have a private fireworks cruise planned from Yacht Club Resort during our upcoming trip in October. If we have dinner reservations at 4:20PM at Storybook Dining at Artist Pointe, will there be enough time to get to Yacht Club by 7:15?

Hey Howdy Hey Kelly and welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you are going to have a Magical night planned for your upcoming trip. Dining in Disney's Wilderness Lodge at Story Book Dining at Artist Pointe with Snow White is an amazing experience itself. Then be followed by a private fireworks cruise from Disney's Yacht Club will seal the deal for a Magical night you won't soon forget! Let's get into a couple of the details to get you where you need to be on time!

There are a few things to keep in mind as you are planning your evening and it all comes down to timing. For character meals such as Story Book Dining, I would say a good hour to hour and a half for your meal would be sufficient to plan for. If you are using Disney Resort Transporation, this would be possible to make it to the Yacht Club on time as long as you know where to go.

From the Wilderness Lodge, you can take either the bus or boat over to Magic Kingdom. From there, you would hop on a bus to the Yacht Club and you should be there. I would estimate that process to take roughly 45 minutes, so you would be there on time if you left before 6:00 PM EST from Wilderness Lodge.

The other option you have which would take dramatically less time is to use a ride-share option. Of course, you have the standard Uber or Lyft, but there is also another way. What better way to ride in style to the Yacht Club for this Magical evening than riding in a Minnie Van! The Minnie Van Service is available through the Lyft app and a Disney Cast Member will pick you up in a Minnie spotted van to cruise to your next destination.

I hope this was helpful to plan more of the specific options you have for transportation on that night. Best of luck as you continue to plan for your Magical vacation. Feel free to reach back out for any questions you may have, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
