Does the 60 prior to ticket start on the first ticketed day or the date I’m actually in the park. My son is dying to build a lightsaber, and I want to give him every chance

    Bright Suns, Justin!

I am pleased to hear that you are bringing a gifted young one to visit us on Batuu. Our Resistance forces need additional recruits. You should be able to make your plans to visit Savi's Workshop 60-days prior to the day you wish to build the lightsaber. For Guests with Walt Disney World Resort hotel stays, the advanced reservation window for certain experiences is 60-days in advance plus the length of stay up to 10 days. So, if you have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, check at your 60-day window to see how far out you can make reservations.

We too have Jedi-in-Training in our family. When we made our initial trek to visit Batuu, we counted ourselves fortunate to locate the Gatherers at Savi's Workshop. Each of us bonded with our lightsabers and committed ourselves to the Cause. Recently, we were called back. Our Resistance forces needed assistance. We dedicated all available energy to strengthening our efforts and that included a visit to Droid Depot where we built droids.

Every Resistance ally needs to brush up on flight training. Be sure to stop by Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and practice those flying skills. Despite several practice sessions, my piloting skills still need work. Remember to plan for nourishment. Reserve a spot at Oga's Cantina. Refuel and recharge before facing the First Order again.

Justin, we faced a perilous adventure on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Thankfully, we escaped. Your visit is timely. We need help to bring peace to the galaxy. We await your arrival with hope.

May the Force be with you as you plan.

    Good journey,
    Donyell
