Prior to our cruise on the Dream, we are spending the day at MK and 1 night at Poly. I have a reservation for Chef Mickey's that evening, but am not sure if it is worth sacrificing our limited time at MK. Any suggestions? Will be with DH/DS, 3. Thanks!

    Hi Breck!

Chef Mickey's Restaurant in the Contemporary Resort is a whole lot of fun and it is one of the best Character Dining restaurants that I have experienced!  I can see your point about wanting to maximize your time in the Magic Kingdom.  Keep in mind that you will probably be getting up early the next morning to head to Port Canaveral for your voyage on the Disney Dream so your three year old son may not be able to make it to the close of the Magic Kingdom that night.  You could keep your Chef Mickey's Advanced Dining Reservation and then head back to the Polynesian Resort for the night after your dinner.  I have another suggestion for you.  You could make an Advanced Dining Reservation at a Table Service restaurant in the Magic Kingdom so that way you can stay in the Magic Kingdom that evening.  I really like the Crystal Palace, Tony's Town Square Restaurant, and the Liberty Tree Tavern (click on any of these three great Magic Kingdom restaurants for more information).

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is filled with magic and memories!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
