Hey there, Phil!
What a fantastic question. Thank you so much for reaching out! I'm happy to help. While Walt Disney World Resort doesn't have an official packing list, I'll share my personal recommendations to help you prepare for your trip.
The time of year you visit The Most Magical Place on Earth can influence what you pack, but here are my essentials:
- Extra clothing in case of rain
- Poncho
- Comfortable, broken-in shoes
- Moleskin
- Swimwear and sandals
- Socks
- Small bag for park essentials
- Reusable water bottle
- Portable power banks
- Hand sanitizer
- Small fan
- MagicBand+
- Disney Gift Card or other forms of payment
- Photo ID
- Chargers for devices
- First aid kit and emergency medications
- Hat and Mickey headwear
- Important travel documents
- Phone
If you're traveling with small children, I recommend packing an extra pair of clothes for the park in a reusable bag just in case. Pajamas are always handy, along with a toothbrush and any personal care items for your nightly routine. If you're staying onsite, the resort provides shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. One of the many benefits of being a Disney Resort hotel Guest. And of course, don't forget your favorite Disney apparel!
These are just a few items I recommend to help your trip go as smoothly as possible. If you're visiting in the winter or spring, pack a light sweater or jacket, as temperatures can drop at night.
I know that was a lot of information, but I hope it's helpful! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. It was a pleasure helping you today.
Your personal planning companion,
Michelle
