    A printable map

    Hey, John!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. It sounds like you are planning a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort next week. You are going to love being in the parks as the summer winds down and the happy haunts of Halloween Time start popping up. While the official start of the Halloween season doesn't kick off until August 22nd, I am in the parks this week, and it's been fun seeing hints appear here and there!

You are a planner after my own heart. I love a physical map to get a good lay of the land. Of course, when you arrive at the parks, there will be physical maps available to you. In the meantime, I was able to find links to printable maps geared towards assisting Guests with disabilities. While there is a lot of information that may not apply to you here, there is also a great map of the parks, detailing attractions, dining, and more.

Of course, you can also access a digital version of the map directly in your Disneyland app. What I love about this is that you can filter for specific things that you may be looking for, whether it be characters that are meeting that day, dining locations, Disney PhotoPass, or even where to find the refillable water stations and ATMs. When you open the app, tap the pinpoint icon in the bottom navigation bar to pull up the map. Along the top, you will be able to scroll through various filters that are available to you. What's great about this map is that it updates daily, which is especially helpful if you want to know which characters are meeting that day!

While you are putting the finishing touches on your itinerary, I always like to recommend that Guests take a look at the Entertainment Schedule for their visit. This will give you all the details on any daytime and nighttime spectaculars that are performing that day. You won't want to miss the Paint the Night parade at Disneyland Park or World of Color Happiness! over at California Adventure! These two quintessential nighttime spectaculars will be the chef's kiss on your Disneyland day!

John, I sure hope this has been helpful. If you have any more questions, we'd love to share more advice and tips on how to plan your Disneyland Resort vacation! We are always here for you at planDisney.

    Magic awaits!
