Hi Joy! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney.
Currently, Guests need both a valid admission ticket and a theme park reservation for entry to the parks. The easiest way to scan into the parks is to use the
Disneyland mobile app. If you purchased your Disneyland Resort admission tickets using your MyDisney account, your tickets should be linked already. I can walk you quickly through how to locate them on the app, so on your park day you know where to look.
Tap the three-bar menu on the bottom right side of the app. This will bring up a series of tiles. Tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile. This should take you to a page with all the tickets currently linked to your account. If you don't see the tickets you purchased for your upcoming park day there, it's time to go digging for that e-mail purchase confirmation again. Search your e-mail for the sender "Disneyland Reservations." The e-mail will list your ticket ID number, which you can then link in the app, using the "My Tickets & Passes" tile.
Hopefully, you either find the e-mail or the tickets are already linked! If not, never fear: You simply need to make a quick phone call to the
Tickets phone line. They should be able to find those missing tickets for you so you can link them in the app. They're always good about helping in any way they can. They even found expired tickets I hadn't used from a couple of years earlier, which was absolute magic.
With your tickets linked in the app, you'll be ready to start your park day. There will be no need to keep track of a paper ticket, which is very convenient! The app is also good for checking wait times, locating your favorite Characters, booking Lightning Lane Entrance return times, and more. Poke around in the app ahead of your visit so you feel confident about using it. It'll make for a smoother day.
I hope this helps.
Elizabeth
