Royal greetings, Ashley!
Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for stopping by to chat about your winter getaway to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. I'd be delighted to assist you today!
January is a wonderful time to escape the cold and enjoy some Disney magic. My daughter and I have birthdays that month and love spending them in sunny Florida. Because the weather can be unpredictable this time of year, the Disney Princesses have a variety of wardrobe accessories to protect them from chilly temperatures. If the air is cold and you encounter the ladies outdoors, you might see them adding sleeves or cloaks to their usual outfits. They'll be in their more traditional garb when the weather is more Olaf-approved. Unfortunately, there's no way of knowing in advance how the princesses will be dressed, as temperatures in January fluctuate greatly. Last year, my daughter and I were swimming in
Stormalong Bay one day and bundling up in winter hats the next! No matter what they're wearing, I hope your visits with her royal highnesses are practically perfect in every way.
Ashley, as you count down the days until your magical vacation, keep an eye on our Instagram account and the Disney Parks Blog. It will be
an exciting year for Walt Disney World as we await the debut of several new experiences. If Princess Tiana is one of your favorite members of the royal court, prepare for
Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which is coming to
Magic Kingdom Park later this summer. It's a water ride, so bring a poncho or rain jacket to stay dry in cooler weather.
Thanks again for sending your question to planDisney. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to make your winter visit even more special.
Wishing you magic and memories,
Betsy
