Are princess makeovers open at the bibity bobity salon. I see their page, but no where to make a reservation? We are traveling to Disneyland in April.

Why hello there, Karen! It's so nice of you to stop by planDisney with your question. While I am no Fairy Godmother-in-training, I am a Disneyland-loving Guest who frequents the parks to make sure I don't miss out on a thing. I would be happy to chat about planning something special for your very own princess.

As of the time that I am writing this I have to share that Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is only open for shopping and makeovers for royalty-in-training have not yet returned. So very many Guests are waiting for this magical experience to return and I am hopeful that it will return soon as many experiences are slowly making their way back to the Disneyland Resort.

This doesn't mean that your princess can't experience an unforgettable day in the parks. Since the retail portion of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is open, your princess can still pick out something to wear to the Royal ball, or maybe the Royal Theatre! This is where your princess can visit with her royal friends and say hello. After your princess picks out the very best outfit and changes in one of the nearby bathrooms, stop back by Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to make sure she is sprinkled with a little pixie dust from one of the Fairy Godmothers-in-training or Coachman that you see outside.

I suggest that you keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog, as this could be where the announcement that makeovers have returned is posted. This is where I check for any big park announcements. Of course, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, like you mentioned will hopefully update to show reservation options as well when they return.

Karen, I know this isn't the news you hoped for, but I hope that your party and your princess have the most magical time at The Happiest Place on Earth! See you real soon!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
