    Is the Princess Leia Award Ceremony still going to be happening in Mid October? If so, how could I get tickets so my kids can participate?

    Hi Clay,

    I did see a post on www.studioscentral.com a little while ago about a new medal ceremony being tested at the Star Wars Jedi Training Academy at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

    According to that post, the ceremony which included Princess Leia presenting medals to children on the Jedi Training Academy stage was being tested on select days through 1 August.

    I have not seen any official Disney announcement or heard anything more about this since then and would recommend that you enquire at Guest Services upon your arrival at at the park to see if something similar will be taking place on the day of your visit.
