Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Britni. I'm so glad you stopped by! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about to begin. How exciting! It's the very best kind if you ask me.
You ask a really great question. When my family vacationed at the Walt Disney World Resort a few months ago, we were in the same position as you are. My boys, both big fans of
Star Wars, had reservations at
Droid Depot. My 4-year old, a big fan of Disney Princesses, didn't have a similar opportunity available since
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is still closed.
My recommendation for your little girl is to plan a do-it-yourself makeover fit for a princess. Pack hair supplies like bun forms, bobby pins, and hairspray. On the day of your visit to
Magic Kingdom Park, style your princess's hair into a high bun. When you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, head straight for
Sir Mickey's. This storybook shop is located just behind Cinderella Castle, and there your daughter will find a collection of princess costumes and accessories to choose from. Allowing her to select a gown and an accessory or two will be similar to what you spend at Droid Depot for her brother. She can get changed into her new royal garments and take lots of photos near Cinderella Castle and throughout Fantasyland! When my daughter was dressed in princess gowns in the theme parks, she received greetings from both Cast Members and Guests alike! She just beamed anytime someone addressed her as an official Disney princess.
You may also want to stop by
World of Disney at
Disney Springs. It has the world's largest collection of Disney merchandise! The Disney Princess section at World of Disney has every costume, accessory, and toy you can imagine. My daughter could have spent all day there!
I hope this was helpful, Britni. I'm wishing you and your family a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
