Are the princess costumes sold in the disney stores the same as the princess gowns at bippity bop boutique? I'm concerned the costume from the store may be scratchy and my daughter won't want to wear it all day

    Greetings Lena!

We are happy to hEAR from you and thankful for your great question!

For the most part, the majority of the dresses are the same as those sold at the Disney Store, however, there are a few additional or different styles. Due to this reason, I often recommend buying a dress ahead of time and letting your little princess wear it at home to make sure that it is comfortable and that she'll want to wear it all day in the hot, Florida sun. At her appointment, they will allow her to go back and change into her dress before her royal makeover.

Another option would be to consider the Courtyard Package where instead of a princess dress, she'll receive a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique t-shirt and matching tutu. It looks much more comfortable for a full day at the parks.

Thank you again for stopping by, Lena, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.
