Hi there, MJ! Welcome to planDisney! You have come to the right place as Disney princesses are my specialty! Let me just get my magic wand out and together we can see if the shoe fits your question!
While magical makeovers at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are not yet available, this does not mean your young princesses and knights cannot join the royal court in some new and creative ways. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is open for shopping and staffed with Fairy Godmothers-in-Training who are happy to help your little one choose their dream dress, tiara, and accessories. Ask for some pixie-dust, and they will be happy to add a little sparkle on their way out the door!
As the belle of the ball, be sure to find the
Disney PhotoPass photographer and take a few photos in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle! One of my favorite and lesser-known photo spots is just to the right of the castle by Snow White's Grotto. It's a path less traveled so you can usually get a beautiful shot without too many fellow Guests. It's also the perfect spot for twirling!
If your little one has ever dreamed of dining like royalty, reading with Belle, or learning some warrior poses with Mulan, you might want to consider a reservation at
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This one-of-a-kind experience is where dreams come true from the three-course meal fit for a princess, meaningful interactions with some favorite Disney royalty, and even a keepsake to take home so you always have a piece of the magic.
I know my daughter loves to catch a glimpse of her favorite royal heroes. While character interactions are still socially-distanced, it does not make them any less magical. One of the things I just adore about the Disneyland Resort is that characters can appear when you least expect it! Tiana has been seen by the
Mark Twain Riverboat, I've personally spotted Merida and Jasmine near
"it's a small world", and Anna and Elsa frequent the area right near
Carthay Circle Restaurant in Disney California Adventure Park! If you're looking for something a bit more scheduled, the princesses regularly appear outside at
Fantasy Faire just to the left of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
As the magic returns to the Disneyland Resort, but sure to check out the
Disney Parks Blog and give the
Disneyland Instagram account a follow. This is where news usually breaks first!
MJ, no matter how your princess experience unfolds, magic awaits! If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow panelists! We are always here for you at
planDisney!
Never stop dreaming,
Tara
