Hi Jeonille, I'd like to wish you both a very Royal welcome to planDisney!
I'd like to start by saying Congratulations on getting married! Your love must've been a Tale as Old as Time, and as a recent Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Groom I would definitely suggest taking a look at the special offerings through
Disney Honeymoons or booking an experience from
Disney's Enchanting Extras Collection if you can include one during your trip. We know that when we travel as a couple it can be challenging to get nice photos together beyond selfies, so we recently booked a
Capture Your Moment session which can be a great way to celebrate your husband's birthday and your honeymoon in the Theme Parks - we managed to get some
really beautiful pictures together in Fantasyland which are a new offering available this year!
I wish I knew where you're both staying to be able to give you more specific advice about check-in times, but in our experience we have only ever been able to take advantage of an early arrival using
Direct-to-Room Service maybe once or twice over the years. This can be a really handy and efficient way to be notified through your
My Disney Experience App, so you can head straight to your room to relax and freshen up as soon as it is ready. When we arrive earlier than the usual
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Check-In Times (usually after 3:00 p.m. EST), the friendly
Bell Services Cast Members have always been happy to hold onto our luggage for us so we don't have to drag them around; I definitely also recommend asking the Front Desk whether they have special Celebration Buttons that might say "Happy Birthday" or "Happily Ever After" that some very friendly Cast Members might go out of their way to personalize for you!
Whenever we travel to Disney Destinations around the world, sometimes the first things we want to do on the day that we arrive is take a shower and dip into a pool or spend some time browsing for merchandise to get an idea of the pricing of what's available before we head to the Theme Parks. I recommend
visiting Disney Springs as you wait for your room to be ready, or even taking the time to explore the areas around your resort!
We love the weather in Florida in September as it begins to be a bit less humid and have more comfortable temperatures leading into October! I can definitely relate the feeling to a slightly less-intense September in Metro Manila, with the chance of thunderstorms that tend to come and go fairly quickly. Something to keep in mind is that this has also been an active time for Hurricane Season in recent years;
the Walt Disney World Resort Cast do fantastic job of managing it safely but I also recommend keeping an eye on any weather advisories as well as the
Hurricane Policy before you visit.
I hope that this was helpful Jeonille, and
please come back to planDisney any time to ask me any more questions ahead of your next adventure!
Prince
