Is the 50's Prime Time Cafe closing for lunch in Feb 2019? I've been trying to make lunch reservations but I'm only given the dinner option for any day after Jan 31. Thank you!

Hello Karen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I remember dining at 50's Prime Time Café at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park way back in the early 1990s during one of our last family Walt Disney World Resort vacations as a kid with my parents. I loved the interactions with Cast members and the delicious food and remember it as one of my earliest experiences with Disney magic.

Advanced Dining Reservations for Walt Disney World Resort Dining Locations become available at the 180-day window, as they have for 50s Prime Time Café. As you have noted, 50's Prime Time Café is not currently accepting Advanced Dining Reservations for Lunch as of February 2019.

There is nothing currently listed for potential refurbishments at 50s Prime Time Café from the Disney Parks Blog or on the Walt Disney World Resort site. This may be a temporary omission and I recommend that you check the site for 50's Prime Time Café periodically as Advanced Dining Reservations may open at any time.

If refurbishments are planned or lunch will no longer be offered at 50's Prime Time Café, the Disney Parks Blog is sure to update Guests once the information becomes available.

While nothing can replace the experience of dining with your cousins at 50's Prime Time Café, the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant has an excellent revamped menu and an equally magical Disney experience.

    Best of Luck!
