Will be primarily taking the bus from our resort (ASMu) to the parks but would like to take the boat over to Magic Kingdom once for nostalgic purposes. What are our options? Also, have 9:15 am reservations at CP ... What time should we arrive at the park?

    Hi Chrystal!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

By boat, I'm assuming you mean the ferry boat across Seven Seas Lagoon.  There's no easy way to get there using Disney transportation.  One approach would be to take the bus to any theme park except for the Magic Kingdom.  Then transfer to a bus to the Polynesian.  Once you are at the Polynesian, you can walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center and catch the ferryboat to the Magic Kingdom.  Or you could take a small boat from the Polynesian itself!  An easier option would be to take a taxi from the All Stars to the Transportation and Ticket Center.

If you just want to experience being on the water and approaching the Magic Kingdom, I have an idea.  You could make a lunch or dinner reservation at the Whispering Canyon Cafe, the Polynesian Resort, the Grand Floridian Resort, or at Trail's End in Fort Wilderness.  Then you could leave the Magic Kingdom for the meal and travel to your destination by boat; then after the meal you could return to the Magic Kingdom via a boat.  Boat launches for those resorts are all outside the Magic Kingdom.

With regards to a breakfast ADR at 9:15, I suggest arriving at the Magic Kingdom's turnstiles at 8:45 am.  That way you can have a nice stroll down Main Street USA before the park opens in the morning to all guests.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
