Hey there, Nancy, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm so glad that you stopped by with this (very important!) question. Planning for a Walt Disney World vacation can take time, patience, and a little bit of pixie dust. Fortunately, you've come to the right place for assistance, and I'm more than happy to help you get started!
Nancy, it sounds like we have something in common: we both like to start planning EARLY! I love to plan ahead because it gives me plenty of time to research - and budget for! - my trips. Like you, I like to gather all my information well in advance, so I completely understand how frustrating it can be when the information you need just isn't available.
As you already know, Disney has not yet released dates for 2027 bookings. While I don't know exactly when 2027 bookings will drop, history tells us that we can probably expect news sometime this May or June. Of course, that's a pattern and not a promise, so we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed for now!
In the meantime, there is a way to
estimate the cost of your 2027 Disney World vacation. While this method won't give you exact numbers, it will give you a ballpark idea of what to expect. Here's what I do: first, head to the
Resorts page on the Disney World website. Then, plug in the
current year dates that most closely align with the dates you want to travel the following year. Based on your intended arrival date, I'd choose July 7th, since that's the first Tuesday after July 4th.
Once you've clicked on a resort, be sure to select the Room tab OR the Package tab, since those prices will not reflect any current offers that won't exist for 2027 bookings. Be aware that your official grand total may be a bit more than this amount (since prices tend to increase slightly each year) or may even be a bit
less if you're able to apply a
Special Offer to your stay.
While you wait for news, don't forget to explore your
theme park ticket options and the
Disney Dining Plan! Depending on your travel preferences, these features may save you money on your trip. And since you can make these selections during the booking process, it's always helpful to come prepared.
I hope this information is useful, Nancy. If you have any other planning questions, you know
where to find me right here at planDisney! I'm here to help you plan the magic, every step of the way!
Magic awaits,
Allison
