    Prices for photopass

    Hi Ponivia,

Welcome back to planDisney. Thank you for continuing to trust us with your planning questions.

Disney’s PhotoPass is a great way to capture all the magical memories of your trip while staying fully present. As a mom, I love that I get to be in the pictures with my daughter, not just taking photos of her myself. If you’re looking to purchase Disney PhotoPass for your next Disneyland Resort adventure, you have a couple of options:

Option 1: If you’re considering purchasing a Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your trip, it comes with Disney’s PhotoPass and unlimited downloads of your photos for the day. This might give you some extra bang for your buck! Lightning Lane Multi Passes start at $34 per ticket, per day (prices subject to change), and prices fluctuate depending on the date. It can be a great value since you’ll enjoy shorter wait times and get access to all your PhotoPass downloads.

Option 2: You can purchase Disney PhotoPass+ One Week. This package lets you download a whole week’s worth of photos for one price. Currently, the cost is $78 (prices subject to change). This can be a great option for longer vacations.

As you use Disney’s PhotoPass, here are some of my favorite tips to maximize its value:

Tip #1: Ask your photographer if they have any Magic Shots available. There are sure to be some fun ones for the 70th Anniversary celebration!

Tip #2: I like to use a Disney PhotoPass card to link my photos in the parks. It’s faster and saves my phone battery since I’m not constantly opening the Disneyland app. You can ask any PhotoPass photographer for a card.

Tip #3: You can easily scan your MagicBand+ to link pictures to your account. The MagicBand+ also pulses and changes colors in sync with nighttime shows, interacts with select locations in the parks, and can activate magical moments across Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and even Disney Cruises. You can purchase a MagicBand+ online at the Disney Store or at the Resorts in major retail locations like World of Disney.

I hope this information was helpful, Ponivia! If you have any more questions or need additional tips, don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your trip.

    Cheers to capturing magical moments!
